Festival Finale
Sunday 13 September, 2pm
Cambridge Town Hall
Light, colour and depth
We bring our 2026 festival to a close with an afternoon of chamber music that moves from the shimmering colours of Debussy and Ravel to the lyricism of Brahms, culminating in Ethel Smyth’s powerful Violin Sonata.
A remarkable final work, Smyth’s sonata provides a fitting conclusion to the festival, connecting the traditions of the past with the possibilities of the future.
